If you have some empty glass jars, turn them into votive lights and enjoy the fabulous atmosphere they create.
The video below demonstrates how to make a lovely decoration. Besides a glass or a jar you will need imitation snow available in hobby shops, but some coarse salt will also do the trick. You will also need glue and a brush or a sponge attached to a stick.
Sprinkle a small amount of artificial snow on a large sheet of paper, and slightly smooth it with your hand. Spread a thin layer of glue on the outside of the glass or jar, and then dip it into the artificial snow, making sure to cover the glass entirely.
Allow the glue to dry for two or three hours. After that, place a tea candle into the glass and enjoy the festive light.
