You probably know that, as in case of most plants, excessive watering can lead to the death of orchids. But you may wonder if there is a precise dosage to water this fragile and sensitive plant, or whether the dosage should be the same in winter and summer?
The answer is simple. I discovered a trick that keeps the orchid healthy and beautiful for a long time. It consists simply in putting 3 ice cubes a week into the orchid pot, which provide the ideal amount of water for the plant.
Don’t worry, the roots will not freeze. Try and see that the trick is working.
Orchids should be placed in a bright place without air drafts and direct sunlight.
