Orange-avocado smoothie with bananas and dates

Internal hydration for healthy skin Avocado is rich in vitamin C, and it also contains vitamins E, B and K, the latter being the guardian of healthy skin. Avocado is a dense antioxidant bomb, and it is an anti-inflammatory as well.


Dates used in this recipe to sweeten the smoothie, enhance digestion and strengthen the stomach. Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium, and they strengthen the bones. Oranges are strong antioxidants and they protect the skin against the attack of free radicals, preventing the appearance of signs of aging.


  • 2 bananas
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 5 pcs dried dates
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 100 ml almond milk
  •  the juice of ½ orange


Pit the dates and pour hot water over them. Leave them a few minutes so they slightly soften up. Chop the bananas and the avocado, and add the softened dates along with the hot water, the almond milk and the orange juice. Blend everything together. If the mixture is too thick, add some more almond milk.
