Ana and Fia, a mother and daughter duo managed to deeply impress the jury of Britain’s Got Talent with their exceptional performance.
When the two women introduce themselves on the stage of the UK talent show, they don’t manage to impress the jury very much. However, with the first impression not very convincing, the atmosphere changes radically once they start singing.
Ana and Fia interpret masterfully the song “Tell Him”, which originally was sung in a duet by Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion. As the performance goes on, silence falls on the audience and the jury, as everybody becomes bewitched by their talent.
Their performance is even more touching as the two just went through some sad events. The 43-year-old mother confesses that she had a difficult marriage and only recently took away her children and started a new and hopefully better life with them. She considers that the audition represents a new beginning for them.
The four jury members from Britain’s Got Talent reward the performance with standing ovation. Alesha thinks what they’ve done is incredible, and Simon considered that singing the song was the most beautiful thing they do in these circumstances to show that they were united and strong.
