Homemade shower gel is a great gift, and you can make it in many versions. It can be fragranced with coconut, orange, honey, lemon grass, lavender or whatever you like, as the ingredients can be varied according to what effects you would like to obtain or what fragrance you prefer.

Orange and honey shower gel
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Castilla soap
- 50 drops orange essential oil
- 2 tablespoons liquid vitamin E
- 1 tablespoon oil such as jojoba, olive or grapeseed oil
Mix all ingredients in a bottle, shake well and your shower gel is ready.

Coconut shower gel
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/3 cup Castilla soap
If you would like to obtain a fragranced shower gel, you may add any kind of essential oil.
Coconut oil will settle at the bottom of the bottle, so you need to shake it up each time before use. The mixture is gentle enough to be used as a facial wash.
