The advantage of homemade syrups is that we are not at the mercy of manufacturers in what goes into them; instead, we can make an excellent beverage free of chemicals and additives.
- 5 kg thoroughly washed organic fruit
- 5.5 l water
- 1 kg sugar
- A dash of salycil
- Lemon juice to taste
Mix the peeled and pitted fruit with the sugar. Add the water and the lemon juice, and boil the mixture until the foam evaporates. Allow it to cool and the pour it into bottles.
