A goldfish cavorting around in an aquarium can win our affection in a very short time. A real bond and friendship can develop between the owner and the pet, and if tragedy strikes, it is very difficult to cope with the loss.
In the video below you can see a little boy saying final goodbye to his goldfish. At the beginning it seems that he is ready to kiss his pet and release it to its last journey.
His mother says that the place of the goldfish is definitely in the water, so the boy should throw it into the toilet. The boy bravely lets his pet go, but when it disappears, he loses his heart and bursts out in sobbing.
This is probably the time when this very little boy faces the irreversibility of death. Luckily, a loving maternal hug gives him safety and comfort.
