A homeless-looking man wanted to eat in a restaurant, but the waiters ordered him out. In a few minutes, something shocking happened.
Nobody believed him, and the first impression he created was very negative. The waiters sneered at him because of his dirty clothes and the wagon he hauled with him. Then, the situation radically changed.
The whole scene was in fact part of a test, to show how much we tend to judge on appearance. Josh Lin first dressed as a homeless and visited some restaurants, and then he returned to the same restaurants dressed in the latest fashion, driving a Ferrari.
This time, the reception was overwhelmingly polite, everyone treated him kindly, the front door was opened for him, and everybody treated him with respect. In the end, of course, he revealed that his goal was to perform a test designed for people to realize how many times they act on prejudices.
