7 tricks to have more trust in yourself

1. Wake up earlier

It may sound strange, but if you wake up earlier, you have more time to focus on yourself. You have the time to choose a stylish outfit instead of grabbing the first piece you see; you can prepare a healthy breakfast and perhaps do some yoga. It is important to spend time with activities that make you happier and more self-confident.

2. Let yourself be inspired

Stick onto the walls of your room or bathroom some inspiring and motivating quotes, and listen to songs that make you feel sexy and self-confident. This way, you will start the day feeling great.

3. Spend time with positive people

You will never be able to be more self confident if you surround yourself with people who depress you. If you have a sarcastic girl friend or a colleague who complains endlessly, distance yourself from them. You need to replace such people with ones that help you grow and become a better version of yourself.

4. Do what you like to do

If you are stuck in a job you hate and every working day is a nightmare as a result, you are wasting your time. We receive a huge dose of confidence when we do things we like, that we are proud of, and that make us feel important and useful. 5. Be conscious of your limits

You need to accept the fact that you are only human, and you make mistakes. Our self confidence is affected by mistakes we make, and we may start feeling insufficient. Every day, we spend at least 10-15 minutes in front of the mirror when putting on makeup, arranging our hair, or choosing an outfit. The problem is we spend this time trying to change ourselves, or to work on our physical appearance. Instead of doing this, we should look into the mirror to see ourselves the way we really are. Think of those things that make you unique – these are the qualities that should make you more self confident. Not your clothes, not your makeup, but what you are should be your main source to trust yourself!

7. Take it step by step

If you wake up one day and expect to turn from a shy person to one that bursts with confidence, you will be disappointed. Such a change takes place gradually. It is enough to start applying the above advice, and little by little you will start having more confidence in who you are and what you can do. It is a tough journey, but it is worth all the effort!
