1. Cut the lemon in three pieces.
2. Cut the middle part in three more pieces as in the illustration.
3. Squeeze out the juice.
What is the explanation? When a lemon is squeezed, not all points can be squeezed with the same strength, so not all juice can be extracted. On the other hand, if we squeeze smaller pieces, the pressure will be enough to squeeze out all the juice.
