Angela Withers Berton shared the following video, in which she recorded the joyful reaction of one of her patients. When the elderly woman began to slowly open the birthday gift, and finally she was able to peer at its contents, she was speechless with surprise and joy.
The short video touched the heartstrings of watchers worldwide. The old lady received a gift of colorful sneakers, the same model her caregiver wore, and she loved very much.
It takes some time and effort for the birthday lady to open the package, as she is careful not to tear he decor wrapping. But eventually she succeeds, and when she takes a glimpse in the box, she notices the sneakers.
The old woman is left speechless, just staring at the gift in amazement, and then she quickly grabs it and squeezes it to her heart. It is rare to see such a lovely, joyous reaction.
