Running is becoming increasingly popular. More and more people start practicing this very healthy and useful sport. Once you get used to it, it won’t seem very difficult. However, it happens even to the most experienced persons, especially if they are wearing newly bought shoes that the shoes will hurt their feet and they will cause blisters and source pots.
Learning the trick described below can save you from a lot of pain.
Sports shoes have a tiny top hole, which we usually don’t notice, or don’t know what it is good for, and this hole is what we can make good use of. Take one end of the shoelace and push it through that hole from the outside.
Make a loop and then take the other end of the shoelace and pull it through the loop and make a tight knot. This way, the shoes will hold your ankles much better, and your feet won’t slide back and forth in your shoes while you’re running or walking.
It is also important to wear cotton socks, because socks made from synthetic materials will make your feet sweat. You can also sprinkle a small amount of talcum powder on your feet before you pull on your socks.
