Changing weather gives us headaches and affects our joints. Rheumatism, arthritis and back pain increase in wet and cold weather. One of the most effective remedies against back pain is chili peppers, as they contain a substance called capsaicin, which has extraordinary property to soothe soreness.
Capsaicin has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, and it can be used for therapeutic purposes. Capsaicin cream relieves back pain by acting as an analgesic, but it shouldn’t be applied to open wounds.
Pharmaceutical companies have found that the best creams for back pain are based on capsaicin obtained from chili peppers. The problem is that most creams produced in large quantities by pharmaceutical companies don’t have sufficient amounts of natural ingredients; they contain lots of synthetic components instead. Rather than spending money on a cream with uncertain results, we advise you to prepare a much cheaper cream at home, which will prove to be very efficient in reducing joint pain and inflammation.
Here is a tried recipe that you can make at home and use with the best results.
Ingredients
- 1 package 80% fat butter
- 5 tablespoons ground chili peppers
Preparation
Melt the butter in a saucepan. When it becomes liquid, pour it into another bowl and add the ground chili pepper.
Mix well and cook for one minute. Strain the ointment while still hot and refrigerate it. Gently massage it into the skin to soothe painful joints.
