Fig growing in gardens can be very delicious in pastry, as the exotic-tasting fruit becomes caramelized by heat.
Ingredients
• 200 g figs
• 100 g powdered sugar
• 100 g walnut kernels
• 80 g candied fruit mix
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1 tablespoon rum
Procedure
Mix figs, walnut kernels and candied fruit in a blender, then add rum, milk, egg yolk and sugar. Shape the dough into small crescents, and then let them dry before serving.
