Potatoes can be prepared in so many ways that they never become boring. The recipe below is not only showy but also very tasty.
Ingredients
- potatoes
- 100 g melted butter, 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt, pepper
- bacon
Preparation
Wash the potatoes well and peel them. If you use new potatoes, you don’t need to peel them. Melt the butter and mix it with the spices. Slice the potatoes and place them side by side with the margins slightly overlapping. Spread over a generous amount of melted butter and then start rolling up the potato slices. Once you rolled up enough slices to reach the size of an apple, start a new one to obtain several potato roses. Once you’re done, roll each rose into a slice of bacon and place in a muffin baking pan. Spread some more melted butter on top and bake the potatoes at 200°C for a maximum of 14 minutes. You can offer potatoes prepared this way as a side dish, but they are also delicious by themselves sprinkled with some grated cheese.
