Over time, rust forms on locks, dishes, and other iron surfaces in the home or the yard. Instead of using expensive chemicals, we can choose milder solutions with the same effect.
Here are five tips:
- Coca Cola
Due to its high acid content, it is often used for cleaning purposes. Pour it on the rusty surface, leave it on for 20 -30 minutes, and then wipe it off with a cloth.
- Baking Soda
Mix it with enough water to obtain a dense paste, and spread it on the rusty surface; leave it on for a few minutes, and then wash it off.
- Lemon juice with salt
Grab the rusty object, moisten it, sprinkle it with salt, then pour on some lemon juice. Leave the substances on for about 20-30 minutes, then rinse.
- Vinegar
When poured onto the rusty surface, it will act within a few minutes. Vinegar makes an excellent cleaning agent anywhere in the home.
- Lemon and cream
Squeeze out the juice of the lemon, mix it with cream and use the mixture to remove the rust.
Tried any of the above, guaranteed rust-free!
