A lesson we must all learn is that we shouldn’t waste our time on little things that will not matter anymore after a short period.
For some, rain is not a reason for joy; children can’t play outside, traffic jams are formed during peak hours, the subway is overcrowded… what we forget is that sometimes watching the rain may remind of to be free, to forget about our worries and relax, at least for a little while.
In the video clip that you are about to see, some people try to avoid the rain at the entrance of a building. The silence is interrupted by a little girl, who begs her mother to let her run in the rain, while her mother does everything possible to convince her that she shouldn’t go out in the rain.
At that moment the little girl reminds her mother that in the morning she had promised that rain would not do them any harm.
“Don’t you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, if we can get through this, then we can get over anything.”
By her words, this child reminds us that sometimes we must avoid to be dragged down by our problems, and we should try to appreciate the really important things in our life, learn to smile more often, be happier and appreciate the people around us.
Perhaps things are not as difficult as they seem at first glance.
