Cheesecake is considered one of the most delicious desserts in the world. Recently I found the simplest recipe that doesn’t need baking.
For the crust
- A cup of crushed graham crackers
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
For the filling
- 1 package cream cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup cherries (you may use other seasonal fruits, such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries etc.)
- 1 cup sour cream
Preparation
Crush the graham crackers in a bowl. Add the butter and sugar and mix until everything is well combined and crumbly.
Spread the mixture onto a pie pan using a spoon or spatula, making sure that the crust is smooth and uniform.
In a separate bowl, mix well the cream cheese, the sugar and the vanilla. In another bowl, whip the cream for about five minutes, and then pour it over the cream cheese mixture.
Spread the filling over the crust.
Crush the fruit and add a few tablespoons of sugar; wait a few minutes until syrup is let out. Spread the mixture over the cheesecake.
Store the cake in the fridge for three hours.
