Spinach, known as Popeye’s favorite, can be delicious, especially if we serve it in the form of a cream soup.
Ingredients
• 400 g spinach
• 50 g red onions
• 20 g butter
• oil
• 8 dl soup stock
• 1 head garlic
• 40 g flour
• 1,5 dl sour cream
• salt
• pepper
Procedure
Sauté cleaned spinach and chopped up onions in butter and a small amount of oil. After 8-10 minutes of sautéing, puree the sautéed vegetables and add the soup stock; season with salt and pepper. Mix flour and sour cream, and add them to the soup after the soup has cooked for 4-5 minutes. Add crushed garlic and boil up the soup.
An extra tip
We can decorate the soup with some sour cream and feta cheese, and serve it with garlic toast.
