Facial skin is the most delicate skin surface, so it needs an everyday care routine. When you don’t have time for an appointment at a beauty parlor, you can try out some facial masks you can prepare at home.
Facial mask for glowing skin
Cut a slice of papaya and remove the seeds and the flesh. Gently rub your face, neck and hands with the skin of the fruit. Keep the juice on for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water and dry your face with a clean towel. Apply this mask twice a week.
A cleaning and toning mask
Make a green tea and let it cool down. Dip two cotton pads into the tea and squeeze them out. Put the pads onto your eyes and leave them on for 15 minutes. Apply this mask once every day.
A mask for oily skin
In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons yogurt with 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply the mixture after you have cleaned your skin thoroughly. Leave it on for 20 – 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Use a clean towel to dry your face.
A hydrating mask
Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. Apply the mixture on clean skin and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
An anti-wrinkle mask
Clay masks are recommended for every skin type. For oily skin, mix clay with water or lemon juice. Spread the mask over your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. For normal skin, squeeze the juice out of a carrot in a blender and mix in a tablespoon of clay powder. Against wrinkles, use clay mixed with avocado. Mix 1 tablespoon clay powder with 2 tablespoons avocado oil or ½ ripe avocado and 1-2 drops of rose essential oil.
