Many of us prefer to buy various ornaments and wreaths to decorate the entrance door or the interior of the house. However, the satisfaction of creating a simple and delicate ornament to bring the spirit of Christmas closer is priceless. Handmade objects, even if sometimes not quite perfect, may become gifts of love.
The video below teaches us how to make a Christmas wreath using colourful Christmas tree ornaments strung on a wire coat hanger. The cost involved is rather low considering that we can use the cheapest ornaments or leftover decorations from the previous years.
To begin, take a coat hanger and bend it into a circle. Separate the two ends of the wire, keep the hook and start stringing the decorations on the other end. You can decide on a nice pattern depending on the colours you have available.
Once you have added enough ornaments to cover the wire, twist the two ends together again. You can tie a ribbon underneath the hook to make the wreath look even more festive. All is left to do is to hang the wreath onto the entrance door to signal the arrival of Christmas.
