The virtuoso sculptor has been assembling recycled hardware to make animals, nowadays mostly insects, for 17 years. Instead of welding the various pieces together, he uses screws to assemble his creations. He generally needs a month to finish a statue, and he usually works on two or three pieces in the same period of time.
