These blood-sucking insects make the lives of many of us miserable. You can’t enjoy watching the sunset when you have to slap yourself continuously to somehow get rid of these whining pests.
Well, if you want to do something about this problem, how about making a mosquito trap? All you will need is an empty plastic bottle, a spoonful of brown sugar and a quarter teaspoon of dried yeast.
First, cut the bottle in the middle. Scoop a tablespoon of brown sugar into the lower half, then pour over a cup of hot water, and finally add the dried yeast. The mosquitoes can’t resist this mixture.
Place the top part of the bottle inverted onto the lower part. Mosquitoes will fly in through the bottle neck to taste the sugar water, but they will be unable to find their way out.
