How to create a braided bathroom mat out of used towels

Do you have some old bath towels that you don’t use anymore? Don’t throw them away! Here’s a great way to reuse them.

In the clip you are about to see, Marianne explains how to recycle old bath towels, turning them into a nice bathroom rug. You can choose any color you want.

Here are the steps:

– Fold the towels in half and cut them into 2 cm wide strips. You will need about 13 strips for a medium-sized carpet;

– Take three strips of three different colors and sew the ends together;

– Braid the strips, joining more strips as you are running out of material. Continue until you reach the mat of the desired size.
