Marcel Witte, an artist born in 1974 in the Netherlands, was quite an outstanding talent even as a child, and he attracted attention at a very early age.
Back then he didn’t know for sure what job to choose when he grew up. One of his ideas was to become a forester, because he loved animals. This is also why animals have such an important role in his art nowadays.
Witte depicts animals so vividly that, when looking at the paintings, it may seem as if they were real. He draws up each piece of hair with an extremely thin brush, and the pictures become completely life-like.
Thanks to the incredible visual representation, we can feel as if we were an integral part of nature. We have only to look at one of Witte’s pictures to get closer to the wonderful world of nature.
Witte’s pictures have been on display in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, France and Denmark, and they can be found in many private collections across the world.
