Royston Grimstead of Somerset, UK, first thought his dog Luce, who had been left alone for several hours and had been found with white down-like threads on her snout, had mauled a bird. But it turned out quickly that the bored spaniel-collie cross had been chewing on the fiberglass wheel arch of the Aston Martin DB9 parked in the yard.
Mr. Grimstead said he had thought of getting rid of Luce because she didn’t get on with his other dog, but mauling the car was the last drop.
Now the pooch with the melancholy eyes has a new master, who allegedly hasn’t been informed about the chewing incident. The 80 thousand pound sports car has suffered three thousand pound damage.
