This house is painted in shocking pink. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary Barbie house, but its inside is much kitschier. This house is located in a village, Tiptree, in England, and its owners are two close friends, Amy Griffith interior designer and James Lloyd-Roberts photographer and fire fighter. The owners spent 13 years to finalize the design of the house.
The two friends painted the walls, created the photo collages, the flower compositions and many other objects on their own, based on Amy’s special plans. The rooms are furnished according to various themes: one room evokes Hollywood glamour, another one the Wild West, and the house also contains a vintage, a futuristic and a Hawaii theme room as well. The owners didn’t move into the house; they are renting it out instead, and they live in a camper situated in the garden.
