This recipe is so simple and perfect that even those will try it who are not exactly kitchen fairies.
If you’re not a fan of very sweet, chocolatey, creamy sweets, you will find this dessert very appealing. It is made mostly of apples, which, besides eaten raw, can be added to various foods and desserts. This apple rose creation is not only delicious, but very showy as well.
Ingredients for 6 roses:
- Two Red Delicious apples
- Cinnamon and powdered sugar
- Apricot jam
- Juice of half a lemon
- Frozen pastry
Preparation:
Wash the apples, cut them in half and remove the cores, and then cut them into thin slices. Fill a bowl with water and mix in the juice of a lemon. Add the apple slices and heat the water in the microwave for three minutes, and then filter. Place three teaspoons of apricot puree into a bowl and mix it with two teaspoons of water; heat the mixture in the microwave for a minute.
Cut the pastry sheets into six equal parts, and spread a little apricot jam onto them. Place on the apple rings, slightly overhanging each other and the margins of the pastry. Sprinkle on a little cinnamon.
Fold up the bottom half of the pastry sheets and roll them up from the side. Place them in a muffin baking pan and bake them for approx. 45 min. When they are done, sprinkle the rose apples with powdered sugar.
