How many pajamas do you have? Many people have quite a collection, but for most of them pajamas don’t occupy a prominent place in the wardrobe. That is why we are inclined to wear the same pajamas for several nights, although this is not a very healthy habit. The results of research conducted on this issue are guaranteed to surprise you!
1. Staphylococcal infection
These bacteria find an ideal breeding ground in dirty clothes. Although we can’t call pajamas worn for several days dirty, a collection of dead skin cells, grease, dust and hair can accumulate on them. A small scratch or an inflammation caused by ingrown hair will be infected because of these impurities. To get rid of the pathogens, change your pajamas more frequently.
2. Acne
Dirty clothes are an excellent site for bacteria that can cause acne on any part of the body. If you see too many red dots on your back, consider the possibility that pajamas worn too long are the culprit.
3. Allergies
If you suffer from allergies, you can spare yourself a lot of problems by changing your pajamas frequently.
4. Influenza
While your immune system will do its utmost to defeat the pathogens that cause an attack of the flu, pajamas worn for too long will make your immune system work harder. You give way not only to influenza, but also to other infections.
5. Bad sleep
Perhaps this is a subjective feeling, but it is sure that if we sleep in fresh pajamas and clean linen, we have a much better rest.
6. Bad odors
If you know that the next morning you won’t have time for even a lightning fast shower, be sure to put on clean pajamas before going to bed. Otherwise the bad smell of pajamas worn for several days will have an effect on your body odor in the morning.
