This is Jamie Oliver’s favorite recipe for baked potatoes. It is very easy. One of the most famous chefs in the world, he shares with us what he considers the perfect recipe for baked potatoes.
– 1.5 kg peeled potatoes;
– Sea salt;
– Black pepper;
– A head of garlic;
– Red wine vinegar;
– Olive oil;
– A handful of fresh rosemary (or dried).
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Wash the potatoes and cut them into large pieces, then put them in a pot of cold water and add seasoning (salt and pepper). Allow the potatoes to cook for 6-7 minutes after the water begins to boil.
Drain the water and leave the potatoes in the colander for three minutes. Spread some olive oil onto a baking tray and place the potatoes onto the tray in a single layer. Bake them in the oven for 30 minutes.
Now is the time for the best trick: remove the pan from the oven and lightly press the potatoes with a masher to remove all moisture from them. Put the potatoes back in the oven to bake for 45 minutes.
For topping, use rosemary, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic cloves.
