This simple dough turns into feather-light doughnuts without kneading, raising and spreading. Also, these doughnuts don’t drip oil, they are soft on the inside and very light. Sprinkled with some vanilla sugar, they are absolutely delicious, and they also go really well with jams.
- 2 heaped cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 package baking powder
- 280 g plain yoghurt or sour cream
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
Mix all ingredients to obtain a dough. Use two spoons to shape them and throw them into hot oil.
The dough will turn upside down by itself in the oil. This means the inside will be fried as well; nevertheless, the inside should be checked after the first pieces are out.
