You probably would like to stop using harmful chemicals and try out some homemade, healthier and cheaper solutions. We can give you some good advice in this matter!
Four efficient, natural cleaning agents
Modern cleaning solutions contain a high amount of chemicals that can be very dangerous, especially if they are mixed with one another. If we use together some products that contain chlorine and others that contain ammonia, the two substances enter into a chemical reaction and the result is a poisonous gas. A good idea is to reduce the usage of these chemicals, or at least use them only in rooms that are easily aerated. The best idea, of course, is to make our own environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. For this, it is enough to use four ingredients found in every household: vinegar, salt, lemon juice and baking powder.
Fill a spray bottle halfway with water, and fill up the rest of the bottle with vinegar almost to the top. Pour in a few drops of dishwashing liquid, and your homemade window cleaner is ready. All you need to do is spray it onto the window and wipe it off.
Mix a cup of lemon juice with a cup of oil to obtain a furniture polish.
Sprinkle baking soda into a bowl and leave it in the room you want to deodorize. Baking soda is an excellent air freshener.
Vinegar kills bacteria and neutralizes odors. Pour some into the toilet bowl, leave it in for a while, and then flush the toilet.
