Spaz, the cat, who lived in Las Vegas, disappeared back in 2002. His master, Linda Edwards, looked everywhere for him and placed ads all over the area, but the cat seemed to have disappeared for good. After three months she gave up the search thinking that her beloved cat had died.
A few days ago, however, Linda received a call from a veterinary hospital that her cat was found. Somebody took the stray cat in a rather bad shape to the hospital, where it was verified whether the animal had a chip. When they found the chip, they immediately notified his master.
“I can hardly believe it. It’s as if we had gotten a second chance. This wouldn’t have ever happened if he hadn’t had a chip”, told Linda during an interview to a local TV station.
