It is said that a hot bath refreshes the body, whereas a hot tea refreshes the soul. Scientific experiments prove the validity of this statement. Tea enhances the functioning of the brain, and it keeps us fit. We can choose from many types of teas, depending on whether we prefer green, black, herbal or fruit tea.

Black tea

Black tea comes in a variety of flavors. The effect of black tea depends on how long we allow it to steep. A 5-minute steeping time results in a calming tea, whereas after 2-3 minutes of steeping our tea will have a stimulating effect.

Green tea

The leaves of green tea contain lots of vitamins. When we make green tea, we should allow boiling water to cool down a little before we pour it over the leaves. This tea should be steeped for only 2-3 minutes. Green tea has a stimulating effect and it enhances digestion. It helps losing weight and preventing cancer, so it is recommended to drink at least a cup of it every day.

Ginseng tea

The mild-flavored ginseng tea has a calming and relaxing effect. Let it steep for 3 minutes before consuming it.
One of the leading causes of stretch marks is the prevalence of estrogen in the female body, which can be reduced by consuming ginseng. This plant contains a plant hormone similar to male hormones that enhances the elasticity of the tissues. Ginseng is probably the first scientifically proven aphrodisiac as well.

Ginger tea

Ginger tea is a well-known aphrodisiac and it has a refreshing effect. It also works as a pain killer, and it is effective against migraine.
