Grilled pineapples are not only delicious but they also have the advantage of being available in the winter, to invoke a bit of summer in the frosty weather.
- 1 pineapple
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Clean the pineapple, cut it into slices or cubes and pull the pieces onto skewers. Place the fruit skewers into a pan and spread the sugar-butter-cinnamon mixture over it. Bake the pineapple pieces for 10 minutes, rotating them often. During the baking the pineapple pieces will turn slightly soft and the sugar will be caramelized.
