Cherry Pies in Mason Jars! – Fill a jar with pastry dough and fruit to make an exceptional dessert

This dessert is simply brilliant and fast to make, and everybody will find it irresistible.

When you make a dessert for a party or a family dinner, you always want to make the most perfect creation, and then to receive some well-deserved praise. This nifty little dessert is guaranteed to have the desired effect – it’s simple, smart and interesting.

All you need to make it is to prepare a simple pie-dough from 300 g flour, 150 g cold, diced butter which you crumble in the flour, 80 ml cold water, half a teaspoon salt and 3 tablspoons of sugar, and then leave the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.

For the filling, you can use almost any kind of fruit: cherries, apples, pears, strawberries, anything you like. Cook the fruits with a little brown sugar and lemon juice, and sprinkle in a little cinnamon as well – the success is guaranteed.
