Cabbage soup diet: a quick, delicious solution to get rid of extra weight

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 2 servings green beans
  • 2 green peppers
  • 6 large green onions
  • 1 celery stalk with leaves
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 can of tomato

Preparation

The procedure is as simple as can be. Cut up and cook all vegetables in a pot of water, add the spices and simmer until done.

For the diet, follow these steps:

Day One: eat only soup and fruit. You may drink water, unsweetened tea or blueberry juice. Avoid bananas, but you may eat any other fruits, especially watermelon and cantaloupe, because these contain very few calories.

Day Two: eat only soup and vegetables, but avoid dried beans, peas and corn. For dinner, have boiled potatoes with butter. Don’t eat any fruit in the evening.

Day Three: have soup, vegetables and fruits during the day, and boiled potatoes for dinner. On the third day signs of weight loss are beginning to appear.

Day Four: eat bananas and drink low-fat milk. Bananas and milk are rich in carbohydrates and calories. On this day, your body will need potassium, protein and calcium, which reduces craving for sweets. Eat three bananas during the day, and drink as much water as you can.

Day Five: you can eat six pieces of organic tomatoes, 100 grams of beef or lamb and skinless chicken. Drink 6-8 glasses of water during the day. Have cabbage soup for lunch.

Day Six: you can eat beef, lamb, chicken without the skin or fish and vegetables. Eat a serving of the soup as well.

Day Seven: Eat fruit and non-sweet vegetables with brown rice. Again, have a serving of cabbage soup.

Advice

  • Avoid bread and pasta during the diet. Also, completely cut out alcohol and soda drinks.
