The audience expected a funny performance – wait till the dancers throw off their cloaks

Talent shows bring not only exceptional singers or perfect dancers, but also amazingly impressive impressionists’ shows. In the following video, what started as a rather sinister act continued a way no one expected.

The audience expected a funny performance - wait till the dancers throw off their cloaks

In 2010, Britain’s Got Talent contests featured seven participants who initially managed to amaze everyone with their dresses. Dressed like monks, and having their faces entirely covered by sinister masks, they caused both interest and a little fear. The group calls themselves the Chippendoubles, a pun on the famous Chippendales dancers known worldwide for their male striptease performances.

One by one, each man threw off the black cloak and face mask, and an impressive show was set off before the jury and the audience. Each man was posing as an international star, and one by one, on stage appeared look-alikes of comedian Ricky Gervais, actor Daniel Craig, James Bond, footballer David Beckham, renowned chef Gordon Ramsay and actors Lawrence Tureaud and Will Smith.

The most amusing moment was certainly when the last participant also revealed his identity – Simon Cowell himself. The whole performance has been widely applauded by the public and highly appreciated by all four members of the jury.
