Visibly, Dr. Hamilton loves his profession very much. He is very grateful for having had the opportunity to actively help in the birth of thousands of babies. Over the years, the doctor has developed a technique which makes him able to calm down babies in crying babies in a matter of a few moments.

He simply calls the method “the hold”, and he demonstrates how useful it is in calming down fussy babies.

The first baby boy is called Ashton. The doctor simply picks him up and crosses his arms across his tiny chest, so the little one is practically hugging himself. The doctor holds one hand over the arms of the baby, and the other one he uses to hold up the baby at the diaper area. Then, he starts gently rocking the baby up and down and in circles. Another important thing the doctor explains is that the baby has to be held at a 45 degree angle so his head is supported by the adult’s hand and can’t jerk back and forth.

After a few seconds, the baby stops crying and contentment appears on his face.
